How do I register for the conference? 

Visit www.regonline.com/nywle2018annualconference and use access code: NYWLE (case sensitive) to register for the Conference. You will be able to pay by credit card online but checks and purchase orders must be sent to NYWLE PO Box 38052, Albany NY 12203. You MUST register online regardless of your form of payment.

What is included with the registration fee? 

Your registration fee includes attendance at all training sessions, 
Boxed Lunch & Welcome Reception hors d’oeuvres on Wednesday 10/17 (dinner will be on your own)
Breakfast, Lunch & Banquet Dinner on Thursday 10/18
Breakfast on Friday 10/19
Breaks throughout the conference
*Does not include hotel accommodations*

Villa Roma Lodging

Lodging arrangements are separate and can be made directly with Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center by calling 1-800-727-8455 and referencing NY Women in Law Enforcement or block #1192U4.  You may also register online at https://reservations.travelclick.com/2864?groupID=2367471. Reservations must be made before September 25th to obtain the group rate of $93.00 per night (Villa Roma will also charge a $6 per night resort fee).

Check-in at Villa Roma is 4:00pm however guests may check in earlier if their room is ready.  Check-out is at 11:00 am.
Some guests may have a room booked in the townhouse villas. There are shuttles that loop the Villa Roma property and will bring you to the main building if you are located in a townhouse room. We will also use the shuttles to go to the Clubhouse for our banquet Thursday evening.

There are NO SAFES in the rooms so please make other arrangements to secure your weapons.

When does the conference start? 

Conference check-in will be Wednesday morning 10:00am - 11:45am in the lobby of Villa Roma.

What should I wear?

Attire for the training sessions is business casual. 
All uniformed personnel should bring a uniform for a group photograph on Wednesday. 
Attire for the Banquet is semi-formal. 
Fitness attire for optional fitness activities.

How do I support this year’s community service event?

In conjunction with our conference, we will continue our tradition of providing assistance to the community and accept donations for My Sisters' Place. My Sisters’ Place strives to end domestic violence and human trafficking through comprehensive services, advocacy, and community education.

My Sisters' Place has a donations "wish list" on Amazon which gives you the opportunity to order and ship direct to My Sister's Place (where you can mention upon checkout that you are donating on behalf of NYWLE) or use the "wish list" as a guide and bring your donation to the conference. 

They are also in need of  -
• Gift Cards, in any monetary amount (our favorites are: Target, also Wal-Mart, Stop & Shop and CVS).
• Packages of diapers in all sizes (sizes 4, 5, 6, and pull-ups are most needed) and baby wipes
• NEW Large and extra-large duffel bags
• NEW towels in all sizes
• NEW twin sheet set
• NEW regular sized pillows
• NEW Diaper bags: if possible filled with new baby items such as bibs, diapers, wipes, ointment, pacifiers, socks, receiving blankets and unisex onesies/pj’s
• NEW baby bath seats for both newborns and toddlers
• New pajamas: children, women, pajama pants (teens)
• Spanish early reader children’s books
• NEW, unopened full-size toiletries for both men and women such as: deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo / conditioner, body wash, body lotion (especially hair and skin care products for women of color), shaving cream, and razors.

We will be collecting donations onsite the first day of the conference.

Arriving Tuesday

For those arriving Tuesday, The Roman Garden Café at the Villa Roma has wraps, sandwiches, burgers and salads. Eleanor’s Kitchen, a deli and convenience store, is also on the Villa Roma property and provides breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches and pizza.

Or you could take a ride into Callicoon (about 6 miles away)

For those arriving Tuesday there are a slew of activities to participate in:

*Villa Roma offers a fitness center, indoor racquetball courts, 8-lane bowling alley, game room, spa, 18-hole golf course as well as a driving range. Also nearby is Bethel Woods, site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival, and the recently opened Resorts World Catskills Casino.

**Villa Roma Golf Course, called “a little slice of heaven” by Golf Digest, will be the site of a pre-conference best ball scramble with fellow NYWLE members on Tuesday afternoon, 2:00pm. Villa Roma has nightly entertainment provided by the resort for all guests and an assortment of activities throughout the complex. There is an 8-lane bowling alley in the fitness center and the main building has a game room with bocce, shuffleboard, table tennis and pickle ball. The evening talent during our stay will be –
